I was so excited when our eldership decided that we would bring in Jerry Tallman to lead an evangelism campaign at New Road.  Jerry retired from thirty years of full-time preaching for the Rochester Church of Christ in Rochester, Michigan.  Since then, he has been involved in leading evangelism workshops across the country as well as teaching at the Sunset International Bible Institute.  Jerry and his wife Connie will be coming to us along with a group of students from Sunset Sunday March 8th-Thursday March 12th.  During their time here Jerry will be sharing ways in which Christians can be more effective in leading others to Christ.  Sunday morning we will have combined adult and teen classes meeting in the auditorium.  Jerry will be speaking as well at our morning and evening worship.  Monday through Thursday morning volunteers can join in door knocking and passing out flyers to reach out to our neighbors.  Each evening we will meet at 7 as Jerry teaches lessons from His Eternal Plan.  Thursday night will be a special time for a Bible question and answer forum.  We want to encourage our neighbors and friends to come and bring questions they would like to discuss.  This will be a great opportunity for open conversation as we gather around the Scripture.
